Caleb Duplain

Caleb Duplain

Semi-pro beach volleyball player.
Assistant coach at Sarasota High School.

Caleb has always been sports driven. He grew up playing baseball and only found beach volleyball three years ago, but the moment he picked it up he was all in. Since then he has poured himself into the game and committed a huge piece of his life to learning it from every angle.

Over the past couple of years, he has trained under some of the highest rated professional players in the United States. By documenting his own journey along the way, he has built deep connections across the pro and Olympic beach volleyball scenes, learning directly from the athletes shaping the sport at the highest level.

Off the sand, Caleb travels the country giving talks about intentional social media use and the design of technology. He loves working with kids and high schoolers, and he is ready to take everything he has learned and pass it on to the next group of players, helping them grow, excel, and win.

A Sarasota native, Emma grew up immersed in the local sports culture. She started playing volleyball in elementary school at Incarnation Catholic School and went on to Riverview High School, where she competed on Varsity Indoor and Beach and reached the Final Four and State Championship.

Her senior year of high school is when she fell in love with coaching, leading two travel teams and assisting Annie Howard at The Classical Academy and the SRQ Beach Volleyball club. She then played Beach Volleyball for Florida State University's club team, all while coaching a 14s national team back home each summer.

After earning her Bachelor's in Marketing, she returned to Sarasota and coached full-time at The Classical Academy across Middle School, JV, and Assistant Varsity Indoor, and as Head Coach for Beach. Today she is the Head Coach for Varsity Indoor and Beach Volleyball at Sarasota High School and the Head Coach of a 15s national team at Sarasota Volleyball Club.
